Brad was first introduced to Golf at an early age by his father Mike, and began playing seriously when he was 12 years old, soon after the 1996 US Masters. The manner in which Greg Norman carried himself throughout the ordeal of that tournament’s final round, and his eventual defeat, was his inspiration for him to pursue Golf as a sport.

After beginning his golf at Flagstaff Hill Golf Club, where he played for three years, Brad Golf moved to Kooyonga Golf Club during 1999, and this is still his home club when in Adelaide.

Following completion of High School at Scotch College, Brad spent two years competing at the National Amateur level in Australia, before moving to the US in August 2004, on a Golf Scholarship with Indian Hills Community College in Iowa. In August 2006 he transferred to the University of Alabama – Birmingham, from where he graduated in May 2008, with a Degree in Communications Management, and a minor in Mass Communications.
