To get a higher trajectory of your chip shots, try shifting the ball slightly forward in your stance and making the same motion. The ball will come up slightly shorter because you’re increasing that loft, so you will have to hit it a little harder. When we move that ball position forward, we’re going to be releasing our hand slightly which is going to increase the loft through impact.
If you alter your ball position you can also find yourself hitting standard and lower trajectory chip shots.
